Office Manager
As a central figure in our office, you will ensure smooth daily operations, create a positive environment for team members, and manage office and team logistics with exceptional organizations and communication skills.
The Opportunity:
Lumens is seeking a dynamic and independent Office Manager/Administrative Assistant to join our Sacramento team.
This is an on-site position located in midtown Sacramento with occasional visits to the San Francisco Bay Area.
Responsibilities:
- Office Management
- Develop and maintain office standards and procedures for efficient operations.
- Build strong relationships with building management and vendors.
- Coordinate with building management and contractors for office modifications and repairs.
- Order, receive and distribute, stock, snacks, and office supplies.
- Manage parking passes, and security access.
- Assist with seating and space planning.
- Perform daily cleaning and organizing duties, including kitchen/breakroom areas.
- Process incoming deliveries and mail.
- Provide A/V and technical support in coordination with IT.
- Track all costs against budget and ensure financial efficiency.
- Administrative
- Plan and execute company events, meetings, and off-site activities.
- Schedule and book employee travel.
- Process expense reports.
- Maintain corporate calendar along with other executive calendaring.
- Electronically deposit incoming checks and other light accounting tasks.
- Assist in new employee onboarding activities.
- Lead ongoing projects as assigned.
- Provide general team support and assist in ad hoc projects as needed.
- Maintain confidential data and comply with policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of best practices in security, maintenance, and business administration.
- Experience in planning and executing group events.
- Ability to travel to different office sites as needed.
- Excellent communication and feedback skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical/Office Conditions:
- Administrative role with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- Work in well-lit, climate-controlled office with moderate noise levels.
Location: Sacramento, CA
Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00 hourly
